Meet
Our Staff
Jane Hall
Executive Director
Jane Hall has a personal interest in adoption since she herself
was adopted at an early age. She founded Adoption Advocates in 1991
to provide caring, compassionate adoption services where the rights
and feelings of all members of the triad are respected. Jane has
assembled a wonderful staff who not only bring years of adoption
experience and expertise to the agency but are also sensitive to
clients' individual needs and wishes. She obtained her law degree
from St. Mary's University in 1982. Jane is a licensed attorney
and has a practice that includes private adoption.
Janie Cravens, LMSW-ACP
Director of Training and
Education
Janie Cravens has a master's degree in social work (1979) and has
worked in adoption for 18 years. While working at Lutheran Social
Services, Janie was one of the pioneers of open adoption practices
in this country. Janie is an experienced consultant, and has been
a vocal advocate for growth and understanding among triad members
through her professional career.
Rory L. Hall
Director of Placements
Rory received a B.A. from Our Lady of the Lake University in San
Antonio, Texas, in 1995 and is currently pursuing a Master's in
Counseling at St. Edward's University. She has worked in adoption since 1995. Rory works with adoptive parents to guide
them through the adoption process. She believes that in adoption
the focus should be primarily on the long term best interest of
the child.
Brettany H. Boozer, LMSW
Adoption Services Coordinator
Brettany a Licensed Master Social Worker, who received her undergraduate degree in Child Development from Southwest Texas State and her Masters in Social Work from Texas State. She has worked in the field of foster care and adoption since 2000, along with personal experiences from her own adoption journey. Adoption is a heart-felt passion for Brettany and she is thrilled to be a part of the AAI team, assisting both birthparents and adoptive parents in their adoption journey.
Kristen Nedelkoff, LCSW
Adoption Specialist
Kristen Nedelkoff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated with a Master’s in Social Work from University of Texas at Austin in 1991. She has been practicing social work for 17 years in Texas, Florida and Virginia. Kristen has experience working with diverse populations and numerous issues, including child abuse, domestic violence, aging, runaway shelter programs, early childhood intervention, individual, group and family counseling, and now adoption services. She has been with Adoption Advocates since July 2007 as an adoption services coordinator.
