Megan and Thomas with their adopted daughter

Megan & Thomas

Megan and Thomas have welcomed a new child into their home and are no longer available to be matched with. Other families are still waiting though, and you can VIEW THEM HERE. To learn about additional families or to speak with an adoption specialist, please call Adoption Advocates at (512) 477-1122.

Hello and thank you for taking a look at our online profile. We are a loving couple living abroad at the moment while we embark on our second adoption journey. We look forward to giving the next child adopted into our family all the encouragement, love, and support we have to offer. Our prayer for you is the same that we have for ourselves…that you be granted wisdom and courage as you choose your path.

We can’t wait to share the love we have for each other with another child. One reason we make such a great team is because we have complementing strengths, and we dedicate ourselves to bringing them all to bear as parents.

We currently live in Singapore and look forward to returning to our forever home in Austin, Texas in a few years. Having an open adoption has been better than we ever imagined. We keep in touch with our daughter’s birth parents through texts, video chat, and visits back to the US – and we hope to do the same with our next child’s birth family.

HOBBIES

The thing we love doing most together is traveling. We feel that visiting places outside of Austin and the United States can be a great way to show our child that the place where s/he lives and the people in it are just a small part of a vast and diverse planet.

PARENTING PHILOSOPHY

We have traveled all over the world and have seen that there are many ways to raise a happy, healthy, and capable child. One of the things that all children need is unconditional love. We will dedicate ourselves to providing a loving, nurturing, and supportive home for the child we adopt into our family.

OUR HOME

We live in a sunny two-story condo that has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a swimming pool. Our building is within walking distance to a beach, parks, and a number of different schools. People from all over the world come to live in Singapore because it is a safe and modern country with a year-round tropical climate… and the food is amazing!

EVA, OUR DAUGHTER

We met Eva’s birth mom a few weeks before she was due and instantly felt that something great was about to happen to our family. Eva came home with us when she was two days old. She is now going on four years old and will make a wonderful big sister because she is smart, strong, and enjoys being a helper.

WHAT ADOPTION MEANS TO US

We will make a life-long commitment to holding a space of honor for you in our lives. We aim to raise a child who grows to be confident and comfortable with his or her origins and place among biological and non-biological relatives.
