Jenny & Steph

Jenny & Steph

We are very excited to go through this process and can’t wait to see what the future holds. We want to raise a child to be kind, honest, and hard working and we have a great support network of family and friends ready to help us too. Thank you for looking at our page!

Who We Are

More About Jenny

When I grew up I wanted to be a actress.

I am really good at taking care of business.

I am terrible at saying no.

My favorite quote is:

“Clever Girl…” ~ Jurassic Park

I realized I was no longer cool when We both agreed that Jenny is still cool, it’s just a fact.

More About Steph

When I grew up I wanted to be a pop star.

I am really good at telling stories.

I am terrible at math.

My favorite quote is:

“I’m not shouting … alright I am, I’m shouting, I’m shouting, I’m…” ~ Clue

I realized I was no longer cool when the kids started wearing 80’s fashions again.

We can’t wait to…

More About Our Life

Pets

We have two dogs, Xander and Oz, that we adopted from the Humane Society. They are blue healer mixes from the same litter. They are about to be 10 years old and are as sweet and playful as ever.

Our Home

We thought this house would be a starter home, and over the 10 years we have lived here, we have made it a home. It is eclectic and functional, which is us in a nutshell, with pictures of our friends and family prominently displayed.

Hobbies

Jenny designs and constructs costumes for a local theatre production company. Stephanie is a screener for the Austin LGBT film festival.

Parenting Philosophy

We will talk things through with each other, with the child, and with the other adults in our lives. We believe in explaining why and not just making rules.

What Adoption Means to Us

We planned to adopt since we were kids ourselves and we are excited to be on this journey. There are a whole lot of different ways to become family and they are all equal in our eyes.
