Ready to Adopt
Anna & Ethan
Hi! We’re Ethan and Anna, and we’re so happy you’re here. We’ve been married for six years and are best friends in every sense of the word. Our life together is full of laughter, game nights, movie marathons, pickleball, trying new foods, and spending time with the people we love most. Family means everything to us, and we’re incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to grow ours through adoption. We hope this little glimpse into our lives helps you feel just how much love, joy, and support we’re ready to share with a child.
Things We Can’t Wait to Do as a Family
Play Fortnite | Read If You Give a Mouse a Cookie | Eat pupusas | Travel to San Diego | Visit Barton Springs | Celebrate Christmas in PJs | Teach him or her how to fish | Cheer on the Buffalo Bills | Watch Harry Potter | Go for evening walks

Our Hobbies
We love spending time together and trying new things. Some of our favorite hobbies include pickleball, going to sporting events, trying new foods, playing video games like Mario Kart and Fortnite, and hanging out by the pool.
Anna loves tennis, baking, reading, puzzles, and country music, while Ethan loves sports, fishing, grilling, cars, and learning new things. We also love cozy movie nights and spending time with family and friends.

Parenting Philosophy
We hope to create a home where our child always feels deeply loved, safe, heard, and supported. We want our home to be full of laughter, encouragement, kindness, and open communication. We believe in being patient, present, and involved parents while also allowing our children to grow into their own unique personalities and interests.
More than anything, we hope they grow up knowing they are loved unconditionally and that our home will always be a place they can turn to.

Our Extended Family
Family is a huge part of our lives, and we are lucky to have loving and supportive families on both sides.
Anna comes from a big family with six siblings, which means holidays are always full of games, laughter, and lots of people around the table.
Ethan comes from a family of four siblings, and we love visiting them whenever we can.
We also have many nieces and nephews who bring so much fun and energy into our lives. We feel grateful that any child who joins our family will grow up surrounded by love, support, cousins, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friendships.

How We Met
We met during our first semester of college, and we like to joke that it was an “arranged marriage” because Ethan’s mom encouraged him to ask Anna out after meeting her first. Our first date involved giant burritos and hours of talking, and from the beginning we instantly felt like best friends. A few months later, we got married in sunny San Diego, and we’ve been laughing and doing life together ever since.

What Adoption Means to Us
Adoption means love, trust, and the opportunity to grow a family in a very meaningful way. While our journey to parenthood has looked different than we once expected, it has led us to adoption, which feels incredibly special to us. We have so much love to give and feel honored by the possibility of welcoming a child into our family through adoption. We also deeply respect the love and courage it takes to consider adoption, and we promise to always honor and celebrate our child’s story and beginnings.
