Ready to Adopt
Anthony & Michael
Hi, we’re Michael and Anthony, and we live in southeast Austin with our pup, Lola. We have a big group of friends who live nearby, ready to be built-in aunts and uncles. Our neighborhood is a bustling, diverse community with many young families, numerous parks, and an elementary school walking distance from our home. We can already picture spending afternoons at the playground, meeting neighborhood friends, and making memories together as a family.
Our big, loud extended families are also beyond excited to welcome another baby to a large, growing family. Michael is from San Antonio, with a large extended Mexican-American family filled with numerous close siblings, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Anthony’s beautiful, loving family lives a short plane ride away in Atlanta, Georgia, where we visit often. They are over the moon to add another niece or nephew to the fun-loving group of cousins.
Most of all, we cannot wait to be dads. We want to show a child the love, dedication, and safety of family. We want to cook dinners in our loud, colorful kitchen, take walks around the neighborhood, and love and laugh with grandparents, family, and friends.
We know this decision and time are incredibly difficult, but we would love an opportunity to meet you and form a relationship that best serves the needs of your baby. We would feel honored to be a part of your child’s life, be their parents, and show them all the love we can.
Things We Can’t Wait to Do as a Family
Build blanket forts and Legos | Cheer on the Texas Longhorns, hook ‘em | Travel to our home-away-from-home, Mexico | Visit their future grandparents | Eat nightly family dinners together | Bake delicious homemade cookies, conchas, and bagels | Teach him or her how to laugh at everyday things | Read the entire Harry Potter franchise | Watch their favorite cartoons on the couch Saturday morning | Make loving memories we’ll share for a lifetime

Our Pet
We have the most sun-loving, couch-cuddling pup ever, Lola. She’s been part of our family for 9 years and is more than ready to have a new best friend to play with. Everyone who meets her immediately falls in love with her calm, sweet, and playful personality. We’re pretty sure she’ll make the perfect nighttime cuddle buddy and loyal sidekick.

Our Community
We live in a vibrant three-bedroom home in southeast Austin near a large park, an elementary school, and a whole group of future aunts and uncles. Our neighborhood regularly hosts family-friendly community events like movies in the park, live music nights, craft activities, and 4th of July fireworks. It’s a welcoming, safe place for a child to learn, grow, explore, and make lifelong friends.

Things We Do Together
Almost every night, we cook dinner together at home, using that time to listen to our favorite music, catch up on our day, and laugh together. We love hosting themed dinner parties with family and friends, filled with loud conversations, games, and lots of fun. We also enjoy traveling throughout Mexico, revisiting favorite places and exploring new destinations together. No matter what we’re doing, we know it will be filled with laughter and quality time together.

Our Extended Family
Anthony is the youngest of four boys from Atlanta, Georgia. Visiting his family means walking into a house full of loud conversations, amazing food, and nonstop laughter. His family is so excited to welcome another kiddo into the fun-loving group of cousins.
Michael is the youngest of three and has two loving, smart sisters. His hometown of San Antonio is a very special place to us, filled with loving parents, extended family, close friends, and the vibrant Mexican heritage we both cherish. Holidays are big family events with dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, and plenty of joking, playing, and celebrating together.

What Adoption Means to Us
For us, adoption is a beautiful way to build a loving and unique family. It means becoming dads, but even more importantly, it means giving a child the love, honesty, support, and security they deserve. It also means building a relationship with our child’s birth parents in whatever way feels most comfortable and meaningful for them.
Having both family and chosen family, we understand that not every family looks the same, but it’s about the love they have for one another that truly binds them. And we look forward to building those ties and relationships with the people important to our child.
