Maythe & Leslye

Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at our profile. We truly appreciate you considering us as the family to share your baby’s journey and to help grow our family with love and care. We understand that you are making an incredibly important decision, and we want you to feel confident and supported as you get to know us during this process.

Adoption has always been our path. From the moment we started dreaming about expanding our family, we knew that adoption was the right choice for us. We believe that unconditional love transcends biology, and we are beyond excited to welcome a little one into our hearts and home.

Our Mexican family of four — two humans and two doggies, all Mexican from origin and fluent in Spanish and English — is eager to add a new member, and we can’t wait to share our love, laughter, an adventures together.

Pets

We have 2 lovely dogs: Navier (8 yrs) who is a goofy, protector and sweet guy and Trudy (13) who is small, very smart and faithful.
They love joining us on our hikes to the San Gabriel river which is a short walk just behind our house. We’ve made it a yearly tradition to go kayaking with them and enjoy warm Texans days.

Our Home

We bought our home in 2021 and have been thoughtfully making it our own ever since, creating a cozy, comfortable space where we and our loved ones can relax. We love movie nights and epic video game sessions in the media room, or grilling up some carne asada in the backyard before enjoying a night in the swim spa under the stars. The house has five bedrooms and three bathrooms, with one room dedicated as a home office, which makes remote work easy and efficient. We can’t wait to start our next project: creating a special nursery with Winnie the Pooh as the main theme.

Hobbies

We love going to sporting events as well as practicing them. One of Maythe’s biggest dreams was to go to a Soccer World Cup and we made it a reality by attending FIFA’s Women World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand! Traveling with the purpose of attending an event (sports, concert, conference) has become one of our family hobbies. Hence we try to jump into the adventure as much as we can: tournaments, festivals, even eclipses? count us in! We get to see new places, experience different cultures and accomplish new milestones together.

How We Met

We met while working at the same Fortune 500 company and quickly bonded over our shared passion for science and technology. We had both relocated for the job, so we leaned on each other to explore and settle into this new city. Through all the big moments—both joyful and challenging—our friendship grew stronger, eventually turning into a beautiful love story.

Of course, our relationship had one final hurdle: introducing our dogs to each other. It was the ultimate compatibility test, and thankfully, they passed with flying colors! Now we’re one happy pack, ready to welcome our newest member :)

Our Tribe

We’re lucky to be surrounded by the most incredible support system: our chosen family!

Some friends moved from Mexico too, and we love keeping our cultural traditions alive together. Others we’ve met here in Texas, where life has introduced us to some of the kindest, most generous souls who’ve welcomed us with open arms and big hearts. One of our favorite traditions is the annual Friendsgiving dinner, where the only rule is: you must wear a onesie! We have so much fun picking out our matching outfits.

With friends and family visiting from near and far, our home fills with love, laughter, and the delicious smells of home-cooked meals all year long.
