Hi! Thank you so much for taking the time to look at our online profile and learn more about us! We are Liz and Jeremy plus our two dogs, Jordy and Millie. We admire your strength and bravery, and we know that you are faced with an extremely difficult decision. We know how much love you have for your child, and we want nothing more than to build a meaningful relationship with you through an open adoption. We hope you would like that as well, but we fully respect the level of openness that you feel you will be most comfortable with. We are so ready to be parents and offer our unconditional love and support to our future child.

PETS

We have two lovable dogs who think they’re lap dogs (but they’re way too big!)! Jordy is a laid back chocolate lab who will chase a tennis ball all day if we don’t stop him. Millie is a young black lab/german shepard mix and is always exploring and usually getting into some kind of mischief. Both will find any body of water to swim in and will do any trick you want as long as there’s a treat involved. They greet everyone they meet at our house with enthusiasm and a toy dangling from their mouths.

OUR HOME

We live in a cute small town in southeastern Wisconsin. Our home is located on a private acre lot on a dead end road with a nature preserve behind us. We have 3 large bedrooms with plenty of room for our future kids to play. We have been working hard to put loving touches on our home during the last 4 years of remodeling. We built a large kitchen and dining room keeping in mind the large family gatherings that we will be hosting for holidays. Our neighborhood is filled with young kids who love to play together.

Our Extended Family

We are very close to both of our families. The majority of Liz’s family lives a mile away and we get together for family dinners often. Jeremy’s family visits frequently to play games and help us remodel our home. Both families are so excited to have grandkids! The grandmas will compete over who gets to hold the baby! Our family is very important to us and we make an effort to see them outside of holidays too. We have a strong support system who will be there for us and our growing family always.

HOW WE MET

We met during our freshman year at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI and quickly became friends over our mutual love for board games and cheering on the Packers. We grew very close after spending hours studying together and hanging out with our mutual friends.

In our sophomore year, our friendship evolved into a relationship. It’s true, you can get out of the friend zone! We’ve been happily together since then and have been married for 5 years.

What Adoption Means to Us

Adopting a child has always been a part of our family plan. We struggled to build a family on our own, so we are thrilled that we can pursue adoption now to make our dreams come true! We have personally seen the positive impact adoption can have on a family. Liz’s aunt and uncle who live in Texas adopted their daughter, and we saw how easily she completed their family. If we are included in your plans, we promise to love your child and to provide endless opportunities for them to learn and grow. Your child will be our everything.
