Before you can make any decisions about your unplanned pregnancy, it’s important to consider all of your options. Your adoption specialist can provide unbiased information, listen to your concerns, answer questions and refer you to organizations that may be able to help you parent your child. No matter what you choose, you will have our support.

Your adoption specialist will be with you every step of the process to help you make informed decisions. Together, you’ll talk about what open adoption means, so you can decide what kind of relationship you want with the adoptive family. She’ll also explain what choices you can make at the hospital, and help you process your feelings.

Adoption Advocates works with families of all types and backgrounds, including LGBT couples, that have been approved through our screening process. You can CHOOSE THE ADOPTIVE FAMILY you want to raise your child, or we can select for you.

As a licensed adoption agency in Texas, we are able to offer need-based assistance for pregnancy-related expenses during your pregnancy and after placement. Your specialist will discuss your financial situation with you to determine if we can help with rent, utilities, groceries or maternity clothing.

Adoption Advocates wants to make sure that you and your baby are well cared for. While we do not have health care professionals on staff or provide any medical services, we can help you find a clinic or doctor that offers prenatal care in your area. We can also assist you with filing a Pregnancy Medicaid application or arrange transportation to doctor appointments if needed.
