Adoption Advocates Inc. (AAI) is a nonprofit adoption agency located in Austin, TX and licensed by the State of Texas since 1991. We offer expertise and sensitivity in meeting the needs of expectant parents and prospective adoptive parents.

Our Mission: Adoption Advocates’ mission is to serve the best interests of children, build families through open adoption, treat all touched by adoption with honor and respect, and to serve as a resource to our communities.

Our History: AAI was founded in 1991 by adoptee and attorney Jane Hall with the basic value of providing only extremely safe legal adoption practices. She sought the most experienced adoption social workers in the field to craft the agency’s policies and mission. Over the years, AAI has incorporated feedback from our clients and have used it to update our practices. We acknowledge that adoption is a continuously evolving field and pride ourselves in our ability to adapt to those changes.

At Adoption Advocates, we have a great deal of respect for expectant parents.  We recognize what a tough time this can be for you. Our counselors are available by phone 24/7 to answer your questions and help you begin creating your adoption plan. AAI specializes in open adoptions where you choose the adoptive family. Additional care and services we provide include counseling, financial assistance with living and medical expenses, and follow-up services.
